Hi,
Up for sale is an external GPS Bluetooth receiver. This receiver is unique in that it charges via USB, so you don't need any bulky adapters. Asking $60.00; in great condition; can be used with an IPhone I believe, or anything else that uses GPS, also can be used with a BrailleNote.
Most cannot be used with the iPhone. None of the Belkin or Netcom or any of the common Bluetooth ones could be. There was one made very recently which could be used with an iPod or other device without a GPS.
Anyway, if you did you would not really save battery: you're using a constant channel open on Bluetooth to keep it connected even if you shut down the GPS app. The onboard GPS is better in the 4S and later, and any of your modern Nexus or Galaxy devices, than the old candy bar or clip style GPS receivers were.
